Fashion connoisseurs will be spellbound at Amazon India Couture Week 2015 as the mavericks of fashion industry are gathering to present an opulent, classy couture for them. Spanning five days, Amazon India Couture Week 2015, will be held from July 29 to August 2, 2015 at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. A luxurious event that celebrates Indian heritage with modern-day inspiration brought to you by an impressive line-up of fashion talent.
To begin with Sabyasachi Mukherjee is opening the Couture Week. He is collaborating with Christian Louboutin- a name associated with iconic red soles. An excited Sabyasachi Mukherjee said, “FDCI presents Amazon India Couture Week, a stellar showcase bringing forth the best of India’s fashion and it is indeed a privilege to be chosen to open the week. This year the show will be even more special as the by Christian Louboutin will be seen on my ramp. It will be a unique shoe collection resulting from first time ever creative collaboration between Christian Louboutin and me.” To mark the creative collaboration Christian Louboutin will be specially flying to Delhi for the show. It will be very interesting to watch the marriage of tradition with experimental shoes as Sabya is known for his flamboyant royal traditional couture, and Mr.Louboutin for his experimental stilettoes.

Then, Ace designer Rohit Bal is all set to create a world of fantasy on the runway of India Couture Week at an off-site show. We haven’t forgot his Kuli Qutab Khan’s tomb show Gulbagh’s class and grandeur. Rohit Bal changed the face of Indian fashion. Internationally famous for his suave cuts and beautiful fabrics, Rohit Bal represents the true spirit of an artist. His creations, like his personality, are unrestricted by norms.I expect him to surpass our expectancy for sure this time as well.

Adding another dimension is the incredibly talented Rahul Mishra as he makes his debut at AICW 2015.Rahul Mishra is a staunch believer in integrating the rich heritage of Indian craft with the constantly varying pulse of global fashion. His forte is to blend the rustic-ness of Indian art and craft, and the earthiness of Indian handloom textiles with the fineness of today’s urban fashion.Following pics are from the Grand Finale of AIFW,2015 in which Rahul participated.

Known for his fantabulous rendition of the most coveted trends, his couture collection will be a celebration of intricate craftsmanship and admiration for traditional hues.His magical drapes and captivating cuts will add perfection to a week of pure indulgence.
