" Life is an echo. It always gets back to you. So give goodness. "

Suneet Varma's collection bespoke of the grace, old world 'nawabi andaz', and tranquillity of 'Sufi mystique'. The above quote gels with Suneet Varma's journey crossing silver jubilee. I used to think, it is what that makes Suneet Varma so candid yet so stylish, so opulent yet so graceful, so beautiful that it mesmerises at times. During this Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, he dedicated his collection to his mother, a poet par excellence. It strengthened my belief that Life is an Echo,it always gets back to you. Mrs.Indira Varma has inculcated such values and art in his son,Suneet Varma, that it reflects in whatever he does.
Suneet Varma showcased a collection based upon love of lyrics and poetry- words that, soothe and enrich the soul. Taking inspiration from poetry that his mother (Indira Varma) has written, Suneet dwells into something nostalgic and tender as the night. With voice overs by Farookh Shiekh, singer Radhika Chopra and poets Indira Varma and Zehra Nigah gave the audience a visual and soulful treat.
Here is my pick of the day:
