The summers are back. We always knew that it will come, but as soon as it begins, the fashionista's desperation to look cool aggravates. So many questions; what to wear, how to don that very stylish look without sweat or palpitation, arouse in mind. Problem seems big but our guest writer renowned international stylist, make-over and grooming expert for the stars and celebrities the Aamer Zakir is here, and he will share in detail what kind of look you should experiment for party as well as well casual occasions. Aamer who hails from Iran, brings to us the beauty of Persian culture through his brush stroke. Here are his forecast as well as tips for this summer:

CASUAL LOOK
When you are out for shopping/chilling out with friends over a coffee or a movie/ simply strolling around then you carry a casual look but it doesn’t mean that you should look boring. Just follow my simple tricks and acquire a fashionable & trendy look.
1. Fashionable Trends this season: Prints & Patterns are BIG in this summer 2013. You can wear printed tunics with jeans/leggings, patterned tank tops, printed jackets in neon colors along with patterned pants or jeans, you can also select from cropped or slim-fit printed pants/ skinny or regular fit patterned jeans. Choose various styles of floral printed skirts for a casual hang-out like A-line/ fitted/pencil or asymmetrical cut. A floral printed/ embroided one-piece casual dress in neon colors will create a style statement for you. You can also wear classic white shirt or patterned t-shirt in summers. Printed/ Patterned/ Plain Shorts in neon colors are also making waves in summer 2013.

3. Accessories: Accessorize your casual look with printed or patterned scarves, cuff/collar embroidery, chunky or ethnic beaded jewelry, big sun-glasses, hoops, bracelets, dangling ear-rings but remember don’t try every piece in one go.
4. Handbags: Embroided or printed handbags are big in this season; they will complete your casual look.
5. Colors: This summer you don’t need to restrict yourself to certain colors, you can use all shades of pastels & neons. For the summer 2013 few eminent colors are turquoise, lemon, yellow, emerald green & all shades of greens, pink, fuchsia, white, navy, beige, orange, purple & all shades of blues.
6. Footwear: Your footwear should compliment your garment. You can choose from strappy sandals, bootie pumps, peep-toes, gladiator sandals or simply you can choose shoes in neon colors.
7. Make-up: Keep your make-up simple as my mantra is MINIMUM IS MAXIMUM & LESS IS MORE. This summer don a healthy bronze look, to get this look first apply a good moisturiser with at least SPF 50, apply bronzing powder on your cheeks and little bit on your forehead and chin and on your shoulder too (if you are wearing a low-shoulder outfit), on your eyes apply colored kohl eye-liner pencil (black, green or blue color) then use thick coats of black mascara which will give definition to your eye-lashes, for lips apply transparent or fresh shades of lip-gloss (pink, peach, orange or strawberry) else simply try strawberry or water-melon flavored lip-balm.
PARTY LOOK
This summer shine bright in colors, sizzle in prints & motifs and create a style statement with embellishments and accessories in parties.
1. Mix ‘n’ Match / Contrast: For summer 2013 parties do mix ‘n’ match styling like pair neon colors with pastels, as both are big IN this season. Create a HIP look by contrasting colors like red with pink, green with white or turquoise with yellow ,more to go………..

2. Prints: Prints are BIG this summer; they can turn any plain Jane into a Fashionista. Printed silk blouse, printed kaftan, printed shirts, printed jackets, printed boho maxi dresses. Choose from vivid prints & colors like geometrical, symmetrical, floral etc…..So wear prints and ROCK any party.
3. Colors: During the summer evening out be a sizzling hot beauty and try the various colors like turquoise, lemon, yellow, emerald green & all shades of greens, red, black, pink, fuchsia, white, navy, beige, orange, purple & all shades of blues. This season all shades of neons and pastels are very much part of fashion forecast.
4. Fusion: Wear “east meets west” dresses, such looks are best for classic high fashion parties. Loose cut pants with kaftans, a blazer or a jacket with palazzo. Accessorize your look by wearing Arabian / African or Indian jewels.
5. Timeless Dresses: This summer you can get inspired by classic fashion and be a trend setter, for example you can wear a little black dress with a clean silhouette like Audrey Hepburn or well-tailored jacket with pants like Greta Garbo, you can also go for all American Look by wearing navy and white, tux and trouser / straight leg trouser. For a classic evening out or a red-carpet look a lace-gown/ printed gown with piping is apt to get a sexy and classy look.

6. Summer Maxi-Dresses: For your Glamorous summer evening look, loose printed maxi dresses in vivid colors & floral prints are the best option, they are stylish, comfortable & chic. Accessories them with jeweled sandals, oversize ear-rings/bracelets/ neckpiece. But remember again use only one piece at one time not all in one go. You can complete your look with embroided or a bright clutch.
7. Accessories: For a stylish party look wear one signature piece of jewelry/ watch, you can wear a big and exotic stone in the form of ring or a pendant. Try a bold and colorful necklace, danglers or bracelets/bangles. This summer define the timeless beauty by wearing pearls, they come in loads of variety, size and colors. They are stylish and always in fashion. If you are a diamond lover then wear any one piece of diamond jewelry.
8. Handbags: For the summer evening parties try printed/ embroided/ beaded clutches or a big bag with a signature motif in bright colors.
9. Footwear: For your evening party look choose from wonderful shapes, classic, fabulous and creative designs like feminine and kitten heels, strappy heels, jeweled sandals or all-time favorite gold & silver heels.
10. Make-Up: For summer parties don’t overdo your make-up, keep your base minimal. This summer classic look with bright lips is international favorite. To get the look apply minimal skin-tone matching foundation & sheer translucent powder subsequently, on your eyes apply skin tone or colored eye-shadow which should go with your outfit, then apply black liner on your upper eye-lid, lengthen your eye-lashes with jet-black mascara, highlight your cheek bones with pink or skin tone blusher, apply red lipstick it can either be shiny or matt depends on your mood. Your classic Marilyn Monroe and today’s Dita Von Teese look is ready to rock the show. This classic look is hot this season.
I spoke to one of the most talented young designer of India “Rajdeep Ranawat” about his latest summer 2013 designer Casual & Party Collection , here are the excerpts from the conversation along with his collection’s pictures:
I feel neon brights and vivid colors are a definite trend this summer as we have been seeing them since mid summer last year as a big trend abroad.
It always follows in a similar pattern in our country as well and we see a lot of designers using such elements of neons in their collections in terms of prints, or solid colors or even accents as piping, accessories or embroidery details.
I would suggest lovely fuchsia and oranges which are warmer in tones for the evening party dresses or ensembles, and maybe the cooler tones such as lemon and turquoises for the day parties.- Rajdeep Ranawat
Last but not the least , wear a good perfume and deodorant in summer, and avoid smelling bad. So this summer follow the aforesaid simple & trendy fashion tips and stay fashionable.
